Your photo never leaves your device. Conversations with the Assistant are different: they run through the chat service, and they are logged and may be used to improve the Assistant. Do not share anything in the chat you would not want retained. Photos are never part of that log, because they never reach us in the first place.

The two are often part of the same conversation in treatment, but width is a separate measurement, usually checked intraorally by an orthodontist. If your profile shows recession, that's worth raising with a professional, who can assess width too.

That's the theory behind correct tongue posture in the orthotropic approach: sustained tongue-to-palate pressure is thought to support forward maxillary growth, particularly during growth years.
